I am looking at dong some trading for a WT hunt in Canada. Was just wondering what you guys think a good wt hunt is worth. Fully guided hunt that has potential to produce 160+ bucks, they have even killed a few in the 200 inch range. I have never killed a wt and think this might be my chance at a big buck, what do you think this hunt is worth.

If you're talking about a guided hunt in Sask. or Alberta they start around $3000 with many in the $4000-$5000 range. A 160 class whitetail is an awesome deer! I was fortunate enough to harvest a 161" with my bow in Illinois in 2007.

$4000 would be average with a reputable outfitter. I would check references, success rate, and the average buck harvested. If they are killing alot of 140 inchers, I would pass, but if they are killing 160+ bucks, sounds like a good hunt.

Its Alberta, and guided, I know a number of people who have hunted their, and they kill some good bucks, a lot of 150+.

take a look at this outfitter. We hunted with them in 2007. They know what they are doing. Only thing I didn't like was sitting in a tripod stand for 12 hours a day.
