Buck with potential.

Here is a buck that I have on trail camera. He looks like he could turn out to be a good one. He is already taunting me with the tongue out. It's probably going to be another long hunting season.

It's actually a raccoon. I often see more of those then deer on the trail camera. They have been in my trash lately so I put out my trap. I got 3 in 3 days, but it seems like there is more now then there was before. I think I need to put the trap out again, or get a night vision scope on the AR-15.

great pics. it's amazing how many inches he put on in 2 weaks. good luck. haven't got any pics from the one i'm hunting yet this summer.

Is that the same buck from last year?

I remember you being after a nice non-typ and then you got his sheds but I can't remember what he looked like.

Definitely a shooter in my book.

Thanks & keep us posted!

Here are a couple pics from today. I didn't even realize it, but I was about 150 yards away in my back yard at the time these were taken.

There were a couple nice bucks I saw last year. I know he is definately not this big non-typical. I haven't seen him yet.

But he may be this buck. I have his sheds from last year, but this year there is no droptine, so I can't be sure.

Thanks,

My memory is not that great! I just remembered you being after a nice buck last year and then finding some nice sheds.

Maybe the drop tine will show up with few more days growth and then we'll know. I think its a different buck though. You may have several good ones running around up there this time!

Love the forked brow tines.... he's at least a twelve now, it looks like. Do you think the other buck behind him is the shed buck? 3 Months to go...

Some more recent photos. It looks like he is starting to grow a droptine on his right side. I think this is the droptine buck I hunted unsuccessfully last year.

Absolutely awesome buck. Would make ANY hunter proud !!!

"Good mass & long brows"

I think he is 4 1/2. I have pictures from 3 years ago that I think is him with what looks like a 1 1/2 year old rack.
