A few trail camera pictures from today. I was quite surprised. I have no idea where the big guy with the drop main beam came from.

Nice bucks, good luck getting one this fall!

"Now we come to the most important pre-season question. Do you just want to go elk hunting, or do you want to bring one back? If you desire the latter, there is no substitute for hard work. The bigger your goal, the harder the work required to get there. Good luck!" - Cameron R. Hanes

Some real nice bucks for sure. Hope you can tag that wide buck with the swept down left main beam. He's definitely a shooter !!

"Good mass & long brows"

They generally hit the blocks off and on during daylight for the next month or so. After that, I rarely see them here, and if I do, it's at 3:00 A.M. Once they lose the velvet, they tend to scatter.

I have a spot about 300 yards up the hill though on a ridge top, that they seem to travel and scrape heavily after that.
