Just wondering if anyone from WI has any thoughts on the up coming gun season? This will be my 3rd year to hunt the great state of WI for deer. Cannot wait!!

It will be property specific as far as quality of bucks and deer numbers. Most of us are seeing WAY less doe and if you still need to earn your buck it may even be hard. Remember group gun hunting is legal so if you have a buck tag or to in your group(within hearing distance) you do not have to shoot a doe. I have been seeing a bunch of good bucks only a couple real good bucks. i am about 30 minutes from RC. Anything else you want let me know.

The deer population is way down. The dnr blames poor fawn prodution but it probably has more to do with poor management. This year is not expected to be good by any means but it only takes one deer to make a season. Good luck we'll all need it.

Thanks for the replys. You are exacly right all it takes is that one deer. Thats what its all about right. I look forward to it. I have had a blast the past two years.
