we were hunting cut wheat fields with little rolling hills to them, the deer were working back into it to bed and I was blow away by the fact there were no trees but a ton of deer, I glassed up this buck and another working back towards us and they picked up 6 doe and bedded out of sight, I knew they were there so I worked into the wind to them, They jumped and I got my first shot at about 250 with them on the run, I hit him in his back leg which slowed him and he stop at 435 and I hit him in the neck and dropped him, shotting 7mm ultra mag 165 grain, got the gun for my wife but I am loving it myself, Thanks
