Colorado Whitetail

Shot a pig of a whitetail opening day of Colorado's 3rd rifle season. Scouted the area year round and first saw him two years ago. I found one side of his sheds that year and both the next. I thought the buck died cause i found a big shed buck squished on the side of the highway, so i decided to get his sheds mounted. This year while scouting a week prior to the season I talked to some fisherman who said they had seen a big deer with huge antlers but they didnt know if it was whitetail or muley. The entire county I hunt is known for muleys and elk with there only being around 20 whitetails. As i was walking to my spot to sit for the morning around 6am a few fisherman walked down the riverbottom singing songs really loud. Know I was all p***ed off so I got down on the river to see if i could find some tracks in the snow. Sure enough I found these tracks the size of a cow elks with a smaller set of tracks. I knew this had to be a huge buck casing a doe. After awhile i got a little tired and let my guard down when the too deer spooked out of some willows and took off. I didnt see the deers antlers but saw the enormous body size and whitetail flying in the air. I kept my cool and tracked the deer over a mile long sagebrush plateau. When i got to the end i looked down over the edge into a stand of cotton wood trees. I saw the buck feeding and took a single shot from my 30.06. The deer ran out of the trees into a clearing. A total of 20 yards. As i saw his antlers I knew it was the big boy I've been watching the past few years. I walked up to him and could not believe the size of the body. It was pushing 300 pounds. I taped him out at 152 net b&c.

Hesitant about posting cause unsure how to post pics. Is there any way I can get help posting pictures.
