I was interested in doing archery deer in SD in 2010. I was thinking about starting off south or east of rapid city.

I was wondering if any one had any suggestions or tips,hints. Any help would be appreciated.

You should first find a place to hunt, as most of east is private. The whitetail hang in the river bottoms an they seem to always be private. Lots of deer though.

Don't rule out the river bottoms to the north either, Anywhere close to farm land with creekbottoms and such will hold WT.
