Weather has been mild but is changing. I have a pic of a whitetail mounting a doe last night on a trail cam just north of spokane wa so I would guess the rut is in full swing.

called in a nice buck on Saturday the 13th near Potlatch, ID. Seeing good rut activity in that area. It was getting colder over the weekend and was really trying to snow on us but mostly rained.

We went from not much snow to too much snow. I hiked around in a blizzard today with 12" on the ground at only 2500 foot level. It just started to snow again in Lewiston, so I imagine it is everywhere else, because that is how it works around here. They are calling for up to another foot by tomorrow morning in the higher elevations. Snow almost always suck it seems. If it is not too noisy, then there is too much!
