I been going to Wyoming since 1994 hunting Whitetails, This past season, the ranch that I was hunting sold there lease to an outfitter. So, I'm looking for a new place to hunt. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that they would be willing to share information about. I would really like to take my boys hunting whitetail again or even a antelope. I'm willing to pay a trepass fee. I would appreicate any help in this matter........thanks

Its easier then most people think. Pick a town, call the local taxidermist and ask. If you can figure out who the local CO/Biologist is give him/her a call. It wont be very hard but it could be if you wait till the last minute. There is good public land in the Bearlodge mountains around Hullett but private land is way better.

Chamber of commerce in those small town usually will know who will let ya hunt and who wouldn't so get in touch with them.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

i know in sherdian if you go to game and fish they give you a list of landowners that let you hunt. not sure for whitetails. i did it for antelope and there were like 30 people on the list.

half the houses i went to on the list were not home. a couple people said there name should not be on that list and others only allowed rifle hunting or just bow hunting. but in the end i settled for public land.
