My first white tail

I got this buck at about 5:00 pm last night. My tag was for any deer and I was hoping to get a nice 4x4 muley as I haven't ever got a nice big muley, but I told myself if I saw a 10 point or better whitetail that I would take it. This one is actually an 11-point since he has 3 brow tines, although you can't really see it in the pic.

I shot off of a round bale and the first shot was about 350 yards. It wasn't a great shot since I didn't realize it was as far as it was and I had to finish him off from quite a bit closer. The rifle is a 30-06 winchester model 70 classic with a Leupold m8 6x scope. I was using 180 grain factory federal ammo.

He isn't a monster, but he is my first whitetail and I am pretty happy with him.

Congrat's on a nice Whitetail Carson, what state were you hunting?
OMB

There's room for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potato's and gravy.
