Just wondering how the hunts are up there and hoping to see some pictures, I am putting in for this area and wanted to know others experience and opinions, Thanks

all depends who you know for private land. there is a lot of walk-in areas. the walk-in-areas are great if you bowhunt but for rifle hunting it gets a littls crowded. but let the other people push the land and sit at the end of the proptery and you will be the one to fill a tag. lots of farmers are starting to let people hunt. the deer are hitting there corn feilds.

here is my region F buck. i had a late season tag but it wasnt good for my own land so i had to go about 3 miles from the house to a walk in area. you can bowhunt on a late season tag as long as you shoot the right sex of deer and right area. this guy came out after being up in the tree for one hour and my first night in the stand

Nice buck!! I was wondering if all the deer up there hang out "up in the trees?"

Beautiful Buck. Are the walkin areas private or public land?

it is private land and the land owners do a deal with the game and fish to let people like us have access. the game and fish has a book of all the walk0in-areas along with rules. some places you can bird hunt and others you cant. and stuff like no shooting within so far the owners house..

I love the forked 3rd. i send you A PM.

if you are looking for whitetails, the late draw units give you the best chance...landowners will allow you to hunt whitetails, but they are pretty tight about there muleys...

How to start an argument online:
1. Express an opinion
2. Wait

Treedagain, thats what I'm looking for is a place to hunt a good whitetail.Another hunt to keep me busy until I draw my sheep. I'd love to shoot the WT with my bow but living so far away from Unit F might be tough trying to find locations, place tree stands, cameras, ets. So I may have to go the rifle hunt. Although "nfh" pointed out that the rifle hunts are pretty orange in most of those areas. I dont have their website open right now but it seems like there were none that are open thru the end of Nov. ?

Hey and don't forget to send me a photo of your ram when its on the wall. I have to look thru the dead sheep pics on there about once a week. I love the 4th photo on your thread.
I went with the Zion unit again this year but odds for me are around 1 in 16 if I figured it right.

i know a lot of the farmers around here and i just go over and ask if i can hunt next to there corn feild. farmers are letting more and more people hunt. the corn feilds are getting hit pretty hard by the deer.the mule deer deer migrate of the badlands and hit the feilds just as hard as the whitetails do.

PleaseDear,
The link you have on your post is for "Float Access Maps" does this show all the hunting walk in areas or just those near launch sites?
