Kansas preference points?

Does anyone know if you can skip a year applying in Kansas for points and still keep what you have? I can't find it anywhere on their website. I have 3-4 points, and just keep having to many things get in the way to go. I would like to start just applying for points as often as necessary to keep what I have.
Thanks,

I dont think it is an issue this year. The legislature up the non-res tag quota 15 percent across the board. JB

Oops, guess mine are gone, not that it matters with the left over tags that are usually available every year. I wonder about Iowa? I accumulated 3 points several years ago but I refuse to pay over $500 for a whitetail tag when I can hunt them across the border in Missouri as a resident for $17.
