so here are a couple pics of a young ( 2 1/2 yrs? ) buck that i passed on this year. you can see in the pics that his left side main beam has a little crab claw action that i expect to be a new point next year. what im wondering is if hes likely to grow a matching point on his right side being as there is no visible start of one. anybody have any opinions on this?

Possible either way. So many factors in that final outcome that are impossible to know. You will find out in a few months if you see that split browtine on a buck again in a new pic...

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

yeah the split left browtine is a very easy identifying characteristic to know when i get this guy on camera this coming year. unfortunately due to the fact that the land owner puts his cattle in that area during the summer i wont be able to put a camera up in the area until beginning of october without just getting a ton of pics of cows. going to watch nearby alfalfa fields in the evenings tho to see if i cant get a look at him a bit earlier than that. if he gives me the same opportunity this coming season that he gave me the last i dont think ill let him walk again.
