Well he did it again :) His hard work and patience paid off for him, a nice 10 point with a big body. He sure knows what he is doing up there.

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

Thanks, Minnesota.

Stud buck for a stud dude!
I have a feeling your dad and I could swap a few interesting tales!
Please pass along the congrats from me....AGAIN.

Definitely! He loves sitting down and swapping stories, you two would probably never get to hunt again though if you both tried to tell them all ;-) Will tell him, maybe we will all get to meet if he ever draws a UT tag...
He got one on the trail camera the other day, blurry but it is a monster! He has also seen some others on other trail cameras. They move in to chase all the does during the rut :)

A sad update to the buck in the trail cam pic above. Dad heard the neighbor shot a big one near the end of season, scored 178 gross. He later seen a pic and said it looks to be the same one as above. However he then found out last week that the taxidermist that was doing the shoulder mount had the game warden show up, ask for this buck and some information about it then took it saying something about an investigation for poaching.

Mntman, that is a pretty white tail buck, very nice rack but the body on that beast is off the charts, do you know what that buck weighted? I'm dying to know. At first I thought the camera was distorting his hind quarter but his girth carries clear through his back, belly and front shoulders.

Your Dad doesn't look like a really small guy and that bucks body looks to be nearly twice his weight. I'd have to think that deer would go 300 plus pounds.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks,
Dont know, he didnt weigh it. He was guessing around 200 dressed, so live weight would be around 260???
