Have a tree-stand on the back of our property and it has been very good to us over the years.
It's ironic that I saw a spike buck breeding a hot doe behind my stand ten minutes before this guy showed up.
Congrats on a very nice buck. Yes, this weekend was very good for WT's, and they don't all live in the forests or trees. From the background you can see they like the wide open spaces too!
13 scoreable points on a mainframe 10...I've seen bigger heads and horns, but this deer had the biggest body I've personally seen on a whitey.
Reminded me of a saskachawen deer. When I skinned him he had 1 1/2" of fat on his hams, but then again his teeth were close worn to nothing, really odd.
