I harvested this buck last year on opening day of the Oklahoma rifle season. I had him mounted in Oklahoma and my good friend just delivered him to Idaho last week.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-07-17 AT 01:10PM (MST)[p]I'm thrilled with the way it turned out! The buck had been doing a lot of fighting and breeding and his neck was scarred up and he had broken and missing hair on his chest and neck. However, I think it adds character and looks just like he did when I harvested him.

Now THAT'S a cool looking buck. Love those non typical deer. Congratulations on that one-of-a-kind trophy.

Taxi work turned out great! I love the form you chose. Really shows off the character of the bucks antlers and neck... Nice!!!

Bergy,

Thank you very much for your comments! I too, thought that this form and having his ears back would lend to an awesome look...I think the taxidermist nailed it. Again, many thanks!
