Colorado deer refunds

Any one get a deer refund yet? Maybe I am just mad because I thought for sure my 10 points had me a tag that was 6 the last few years. Oh well, next year.

But, any idea when they come out? I thought for some reason I should have it by now.

Sure have, refunds for deer, elk, and pronghorn. Pronghorn was the last to arrive for us it came in the mail about a week ago.

Thanks guys, I called and they said I should see it by Aug 9th. They are still mailing them out. So I guess the dang mail thieves may not have taken it.

Well, Aug 3 and no refund yet. Looks like 1 more week and Ill be calling in too see where and what I need to do. What a pain. Im sure that it should be here by now.

My buddy and I are still waiting for elk refunds. I called CDOW about a week ago and they told me to wait until August 8th and then to call back if we still hadn't received them. I've never had to wait this long before, but I'm sure they'll make it right. I'm just going to turn around and send it back towards a 2nd season bull tag anyway.

Well, Aug 8th came, I called and asked for the affidavit to be sent. They said it would take just a few days. So I wait 10 days. Call back and they said there were so many that they could not handle them all and mine would be sent out very soon. Well, Aug 29th I got mine in the mail and once they receive the paper it will take another 4-6 weeks. Geez, by then it will be time to re apply. They just as well keep my money and put it towards next year at this point. Its kind of like christmas lights, if they are not down by June, keep them up for next year since its the 1/2 way mark. Same applies here.
