Anyone get through on the phone?? I tried from 0850 til 0915 with never a ring just busy. I called at 0830 and it had be press 1 and all that but just said tags go on sale at 0900 in like a general recording.. Hope someone had some luck on their side

Just looked at the list and all the tags I wanted are gone
 
hit redial on my phone 90 times (per my "recent calls" log) and nothing but busy or a recording that the line was disconnected (probably because of the volume of calls).
 
Well it was worth the try LOL.. Hopefully something will be leftover for me as I want to hunt this year.. Guess I will keep trying as the day goes on and see what happens
 
I got threw at 9:03. The lady said use the 800 number. It ask for credit card number, then says systems not connecting. Go figure.
 
Well, The phones had to be going through for somebody, or maybe the were buying off the Internet, cuz at about 2p, I went by the CPW office and all the good tags were gone.

you have to realize there are likely 10,000 hunters calling in from around country to buy a tag and they have 10, 20 even 50 people taking calls??? What are odds to get through, do you expect them to have 5000 people taking calls? If so then you'd need to pay 5000/tag to hunt a field mouse let alone deer/elk.

So there I was, Aug 2nd in a hotel room because of work... I had 4 phones and the number on speed dial.... 8:30, no problem getting thru, 8:45 not a problem, 8:50.... busy signal.... I was seriously speed dialing thru all 4 phones and all I got was a busy signal for the next 75 minutes!! I got nuthin, not a damned one of my 6 hunts that I had for my "draft"....

Next year Im putting in for the day before and day of as vacation days!!

I think they are referring to August 2nd, the first day leftovers went on sale... They weren't available online until Aug 3rd.
 
Last Tuesday there were more re-issues and there will be on a weekly basis.

If you want to get in on the early leftovers check the box on your application, then you have a crack at them BEFORE the general public.

By that time there are no good ones left. I think he was referring to the weekly reissue/Primo tags. Your only real option there is in person or on the phone, and the phone just is not a real option

No returned tags were put on the "leftover list" initially. They didn't go on sale until August 2nd.

I was contacted by a guy who got an early rifle deer tag on line last week.

So online did work. Have not heard anyone having luck with phone yet, but I am sure some where they have.

I hunt both sides but I live on the wrong side, just south of Cheyenne. Pm sent.
 
I got a tag online today but there was an issue with CPW on the website on my first try and had to start over.

If there is 1 Primo tag that is reissue by the time you get logged on the Internet it will be gone

At 9:01 they are sold out unless it is not a desirable tag

I didn't think the plo doe antelope tag I was after was too desirable but I guess it was! :D when there's only 1 it's a tough row! Maybe next week!

I do know there were two 61 first season Bull tags available
 
Just giving crap but yeah 61 first season. Hunted it a few years ago second season cant wait to get back in there. It seems the system takes a little while after 9 to load these new tags in on Tuesday morning. I have struck out the last couple weeks trying, but got lucky yesterday. Just kept hitting validate hunt code and it said sold out and then bam in my cart and i typed my credit card info as fast as i could and i got super lucky. I can't believe some of these tags. Did you guys see the new early rifle 61 tag that was on there last week?
