Weather around Gunnison

Does anyone mind sharing what the local weather conditions have been and currently are in the high country surrounding Gunnison. I look at NOAA, Weather underground, etc. Nothing beats boots on the ground though. Thanks.

Was around Gunni this weekend. Dry as a bone all the way to 12,000+'. There was a little snow on the highest peaks but it has melted now. Indian summer conditions, but windy.

Lawrence is spot on. Cloudy and windy the past few days with a little moisture. Supposed to clear up and be warm for the next few days. Still some snow above treeline.

I was in 54 for second season. It was very warm and dry, especially down low. Up high there seemed to be plenty of moisture and it was quite a bit cooler. I hiked in to the west elk a couple times and it was extremely windy up high.

Hot and dryer than a popcorn fart. I don't see much improvement in the 10 day.

Popcorn fart is right. One day at the bottom of Cr 723 it was 81?! Got to the top and walked into the west elk and it was 62?. Big temp swings in the elevation change.
