Delta to divide rd.

How is the road from Delta to the divide road? Is it a decent maintained road? Im guessing it's a dirt road? So I'm sure there is rough spots but just making sure it's a half decent road.
Also is there good camping spots along it? (Wall tent) I've heard a lot of mixed things for My 3rd season deer tag I've been told to hunt high from some and low from others.
I figured if I could find a midway point along that road it may be best cause I can head up if needed or down if needed and not travel a long way everyday.
Also is it a good area for deer along there?

The 25 Mesa road, also known as the Delta/Nucla road, is one of the better roads up to the Divide road. It is my preferred route for taking the camper up there because it is much smoother than coming from Unaweep Canyon. It is well maintained and is all weather. A good snow storm could make any of those roads a bit sporty although picking your campsite is more of a worry in that regards than how the main roads are.

I've never hunted the 62 side so will let someone else comment on that.
