My daughter has a second season buck tag in 44.Conditions are pretty tough. We've been seeing very few deer with just a small buck here and there. Anyone have any suggestions?

Post a picture of HER in her hunting outfit with "thumbs up" and I bet you get some good info

Not at all asking for a provocative picture, just one with all her bulky hunting garb on and orange and rifle over her shoulder out in the field with a thumbs up to prove you are telling us the truth. Too easy to say, "I'm hunting with my 78 year old Dad, my daughter, I have cancer........ to gain sympathy. If you indeed are hunting with your daughter (who has the tag), then I salute you and you deserve a second look IMO.

To point, I have hunted that unit and have some info. Not gonna share it just cause someone I don't know says their daughter has a tag.

Well it was a pretty tough season with not a lot of deer.My daughter was a real trooper, passing on several bucks during the week.On Saturday afternoon she told me it was time to put some meat in the freezer. She got it done with one shot from her 280. Not a big buck but these memories will last a lifetime!

Congrats to your daughter! Its great seeing women getting back into hunting in recent years!

Don't bad mouth that deer. It is a pretty nice one. Granted, not what you were hoping from 44, but anywhere else most people would not pass it up. Always fun getting a buck in the quakies. Glad you she got some meat and that you are a great Dad to take her.

Funny how you got info after posting the pic. LOL. That's not a bad buck. Congrats to you guys. I wish my daughters hunted. They wanted to up until they were about 12 then their tune changed. They like the meat, just not killing them. Glad your daughter likes to be out there.

Cancer doesn't discriminate...don't take your good health for granted because it can be gone in a heartbeat. Please go back and read the last line. This time really understand what it says.
