I have hunted unit 40 3rd season for deer several times. I have 5 points. I would like to switch to a unit that I can draw with just a couple points. I rifle and archery hunt. I don't have horses, but enjoy backpacking. I would be happy chasing 170 bucks, but would love a shot at something 180 plus. Willing to share any knowledge I have in Wyoming, Idaho, or Utah. Thanks for any advice fellas.

How have your unit 40 hunts gone? I've got 5 pts to burn. Also looking for something I can draw as a 2nd choice, or every couple of years.

The buck I shot was a 22 inch 4 point. The other hunts I have been on with family and friends have been 130 to 150 class. Missed a 170+ buck.
