BIG NEWS: The wildlife commission recently voted to shelve the Habitat Stamp RFP process for 2017. This program ANNUALLY took about 6.6 million dollars and coupled it with GOCO funds to preserve and protect wildlife habitat, as well as create public access through the use of easements. This loss is a setback for habitat conservation, wildlife and sportsmen.

Every region has their own round table meetings with elected delegates, and there is a statewide group that meets several times a year with appointed delegates, and the elected regional delegates.

In looking at the round table website, it appears the west has a vacancy for an elected delegate. If you care to run for the position, contact Ron Velarde NW regional manager.
