Winter bordom / home made Archery target

Ever look at life size elk archery targets and wish they were affordable. Well, I did and holy cow are they ever expensive. Being bored and wishing i was in the hills, I killed some time and made a target with a 4'x8' sheet of corrugated plastic and some spray paint. All I need to do now is add a stand/ stiffener and put my block target behind the vitals. Not bad for $40 bucks. Verdicts still out on how may shots it will take before I have to cut the vitals out and just shoot the block behind it. Just passing the idea along for those trying to save a buck or two.

Great idea and nice job painting. But just a tad short of being life size as a bull brisket will be @30+ inches of that 48. Love it though

Its as close as I could get it without adding the rest of his legs on one sheet. The rest of his legs would add enough that it would be pretty close. I just got tired and didn't think the additional 12 inch mattered as much.

That's cool man. I ended up buying some targets online. They work well. The GlenDel Buck 3D target works like a charm.

Janango, that is good for you, but the jist of this post is: stuck at home with time To spare and saving money. Your targets look good but aren’t cheap. His cost 25% of yours.
