Anyone on the round table here is an issue to tackle. I served on the round table as we pushed to change the refund policy on tags. I really like the new rules.
However there appears to be an unforeseen situation that might arise. I was made aware of this issue and asked to help.
An active duty military man drew a lope tag after several years of applying. He is stationed in another state so it was a nonresident tag. He just got orders that he will be moving and possibly deployed right as season starts. In his case he either forfeits his points or his money.
Money is a big deal as the NR fee is enough to increase his life insurance while deployed.
At any rate I hope the round table and the CPW can find a solution for people who can prove deployment came after the draw.
