Was curious if anyone got a call yet for being next in line for a 5 plus point returned tag? I know of a couple 61 tags that have been turned in.

Yes, it was a NR sheep tag, so I don't know if they are calling elk or deer hunters yet. The CPW person said they are still validating the re-issue system, so it could be a few weeks before the tag shows up, but they received the check and I was assured that the tag is mine. She said the fishing license is not valid until the tag comes in the mail also. Sounds like they are working overtime to get everything checked out and start sending out tags.

Should be a unit 10 muzzy elk tag as a friend turned his back in. Resident.

It's great the CPW spends the time and resources to now give the next in line the turned in tags.

I got the call for a Unit 1 Achery E/S tag yesterday. I'm not sure I have the time to do the tag justice so I haven't accepted it yet. They said I have until Monday to decide.
