Waiting In line for a leftover.... who else?

Well my 7 year old son and I have been sitting at the local sporting goods store since 3:45 pm and are waiting for licenses to go on sale tomorrow at 9:00.

Good luck to everyone else. A lot less hype this year and a lot fewer good tags.

I feel my odds are not as good for my tag, but not sitting as first in line makes my odds at 0.

Who else is hanging out?

Good luck, 90 min to wait.

I spent the night in front of DOW Grand Junction back in the day, when only leftover tags went on sale. I was 1st in line, they gave me a tee shirt and couple coffee cups, got the cow tag I wanted and filled it opening morning. Figured it would never get any better than that, so I never waited again.

Next fall I hope to be semi-retired, so I should be flexible enough to take advantage of a couple of the best tags available through reissue.

I got to DOW at 4:45 this morning and was greeted by 10 people in line..... turned around and went back to bed.

Well the deer tags were gone fast. We got a busy signal twice then 3rd time we got through and the deer tag was gone. On the next try I went for an antelope tag.

I got a pretty darn good archery antelop tag. It is in a unit that boarders my WY archery deer tag. So that could be awesome.

The same unit for rifle takes over 14 to draw

Next person it crashed for about 30 minutes then a few got some tags that were cow tags etc.

Cole you lucky sucker, I knew a few guys trying for that tag. lol Good luck on that hunt.
