My 13 year old son made what looked to be a good shot on a bull in late evening but after not finding much blood we left him for the night. About 1am rain rain more rain. The next morning we can find where he crested ridge but all blood is washed out and no tracks on hard packed rocky ridge. I know it's a long shot but if any rifle hunter in the area comes across him it would be great to know where he went or even get rack as he was very distinct with left side being 5 possibly 6 point and right side was clubbed down side of head. Arrow shaft was sticking out at least eight inches but never backed out or broke off for .28 of a mile we could track him.

Headed up there Oct. 5th to prepare and scout for 1st rifle season. P.M. me with more specifics and I may be able to do some looking while there. How far up sheep creek? Also there is east sheep creek drainage. Sorry your son didn't get the bull. Maybe someone will get lucky and stumble on him. Jainoon
