Did anyone take home any big bucks 3rd season on 62? Is it worth putting in for? Or is a different unit better?
 
Hunted all 9 days on NF?never saw a bull seen some bucks none big?saw one big 3 pt?I probably won't go back. I think there are better units personally.
 
I hunted 8 days all on BLM. I moved camp once and was able to find a few more deer on some ground the BLM had treated. Quite a few does and a lot of locals were road hunting it. I saw three bucks total and the biggest was killed by a road hunter. I spent 5 points on this hunt and it was a real disappointment. I did my research, but came up empty.
 
That's what I have been told. It seems like there are better units​. 62 was good 6 years ago but sounds like alot has changed since then. Thanks for the info.
 
I hunted 7 days on both NF and BLM. I saw 2-3 bucks per day and ended up shooting the biggest deer I saw on the last evening of the hunt, 165" four point. I also burned 5 points and was pretty disappointed in overall deer numbers and lack of mature bucks. I'm sure there are a few in there, but I struggled to find them.
