I have 17 Non Resident Elk points. Any suggestions? Prefer rifle and have horses. 59 years old but get around ok especially on the back of a good horse. Thanks in advance for your input. 300-320 bull with the potential to find a 350 plus if i hunt hard and get pretty lucky. Also willing to wait a few more years if that is what it takes.

With horses? 76 would probably be a good bet.
40, 2nd rifle is within your reach now (14 pps last year). 76 1st rifle took 15 NP pps last year. Will there be 2 pp jump this year? It is possible w the new application rule (don't have to pay license fee unless/until you draw). Could be a lot of people dumping points because of this change, you can read varying opinions about the impact of this in other threads here.
