looking for a new area to hunt deer in Colorado. Have been hunting in 41/42/421 unit 2nd rifle for years. The quality seems to be down and tons of hunters. Went to Toprut and Gohunt and saw what I could draw. There's allot but never stepping foot in the areas its hard to chose from. The above unit, a member on here years ago gave me some info and off I went, I've had good luck and bad luck there but I need a change in views. Looking for a 2nd season and public hunting. Any ideas? Also hunted 67 elk for years, early rifle, but the area I hunted seems to have allot of logging going on. Any ideas there/ (no pp for this hunt) Thanks

Awesome hunt in 2006, not so great in 2014 and knew guys in 2015 and 2016 that went and it was not great. I'm looking also, only have huntin fool and Epric information. Good Luck.
 
If weather warm/dry weather patters continue for 3rd/4th season hunts in Colorado, things will remain difficult for those dates. Earlier dates when the deer can be accessed up high are looking better and better.

Why? 4th season they'll be lower and out in the open looking for does. That's way easier than trying to find them when they're up high and hiding.
