ive spent a lot of time in Wyoming and montana, mainly the central and eastern sides of the states. I'm looking at trying Colorado in the coming years but wondering about the terrain. is it similar at all to the heavier rolling foot hill country similar to what i see in Wyoming and montana? for some reason when you go east of I25 i envision nothing but high steep mountains. due to injury, the steeper mountainous terrain is pretty difficult for me to navigate, that's the reason i ask.

Colorado has it all as far as terrain goes. Steepest/deepest mountains in the west to rolling sage/oak-brush, flat grassland out east. Colorado really does cover the terrain spectrum well. You should have no problem finding a hunt that suits your needs.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-11-18 AT 02:20PM (MST)[p]You can see the mountains on a map. They're in the central to the west side of the state. The east is open plains. Sagebrush is at the base of the mountains.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-12-18 AT 00:01AM (MST)[p]If you are looking for milder terrain , with sage/oak brush....northern Colorado might be what your looking for. Craig, meeker area.
Plenty of that type of terrain in other parts of Colorado, but lots of it in the northern part.
