LAST EDITED ON Mar-25-18 AT 06:21AM (MST)[p]Anyone know the well-kept secret of applying a minor dependant for his first big game tag in CO using this new system? I've successfully created him an account but the CPW system has not assigned him a CID # and he has no other form of ID they want. So, as of now, I can go no further. Perhaps I'm missing something?

Thanks!

LAST EDITED ON Mar-25-18 AT 07:14AM (MST)[p] There is a list of license requirements on page 3 in the regulation booklet and youth hunter requirements on page 6.
If the youth meets all of those requirements and you still can't get the application to process you probably will need to call them and find out what's going on. Maybe you can get it resolved over the phone.

They need a SS # too.

And it isn't a CDOW website-- it a Reserve America website. I hate the fact that this is a Reserve America website and all of an applicant's info is on Reserve America. Colorado has made a deal with the devil.....

I was struggling to figure it out too. Mine luckily has a passport, so we were able to use that as a form of ID and get him applied. Question for you guys- are the youth tags drawn out of a separate pool of tags, or is it all the same pool, and the youth tag would require the same number of points as an adult?

thanks in advance.

It's a separate pool I believe. Also, depending on the unit, the NR tag quotas are at least partially determined by resident demand. If you look at the recaps on the cpw stats page, you can see the separate draw categories and stats from last year.
