CO Unit 43,47,471 3rd Season Rifle

I drew this hunt 3rd season non resident never hunted this unit. I plan on going out and learning the area this summer. Any input or advice from others that have hunted this would be appreciated.
 
learn how to knock on doors of high dollar estates asking for permission to shoot the bucks in their horse pasture.

In some areas it will be aspen/sage interface, others oak brush/PJ. work up ridges towards summer range, especially after a good snow. Find does and watch the groups as bucks will start wandering by and checking, especially towards the end of the season. Good luck getting any specific info for the unit, tight lipped folks around here.
 
Thanks I'm not scared to knock doors but I would rather not hunt horse pastures. I will probably focus on 43,47 any input on which one would be better to start with?
 
Thanks for the tips I have never hunted colorado 3rd season or this unit so I'm just trying to get some general knowledge on the unit not anybody's secret spots I prefer to find them places myself.
