The recap printouts are behind interesting. A resident used 22 points to draw a 3rd season unit 20 deer tag that is guaranteed with one point. Or the resident that burned 18 points on a unit 27 2nd season deer tag that was available as a third/fourth choice.

Talked to a guy in unit 62 several years ago who thought since it only took 1 point to get the cow tag he had the state would only take 1 of his 10 points. He was complaining to me they took all his points. He had put in with a group of 3 others so I guess turning the tag back in wasn't an option.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-07-18 AT 10:19PM (MST)[p]^^^^ that's hilarious.... you would think the guy after applying for years would have figured out that you loose them all once you draw ! I'm fine with people burning tons of points on a unit that takes next to none to draw, that's how you get them out of the high point pool and it's there fault for not looking up information. There is so many options now a days for research as to what unit takes how many points.

You would also think that putting in with 3 others something would have been said between them. The cow tag he had was for unit 61. What do you say when somebody tells you something like that? I was so shocked that he could be so stupid I just shrugged my shoulders and didn't say anything. Sometimes I wonder how some people make it to adulthood.

I saw where a resident used 9 points for a late pronghorn doe tag. As far as I can remember, that hunt code is always for sale until late in the year.
