Have the deer tags been mailed out? I haven't gotten mine or maybe I have but tossed it accidentally. Thanks....

Will do, DW! Started researching my unit. I can't wait to get out there and hunt a unit that is totally new to me. It'll only be my second time hunting deer in Colorado....gonna try to get my Dad a 160'ish buck. He deserves it. Good luck to you!

FYI All big game licenses started mailing June 22, 2018. All licenses will be in the mail by Friday June 29th, 2018. Licenses are not considered lost in the mail until 30 days after the mailing date.

Got my deer tag sometime last week. Hadn't checked my mail since Wednesday.

Still no tag for me. Since I burned 15 pts and is my first CO tag I got worried and called them to ensure I actually drew a tag. CPW said the tag is on its way. I sure hope so!!
 
I don't believe any of the elk tags were mailed by the 29th. I wouldn't start to worry until the middle of next week.

There's a lot BW. Every Hunting site has multiple post of people waiting on tags. This new vendor p&w picked will probably not be around next year.

Thanks DW. When I called CPW yesterday they mentioned that some folks have gotten their tags, but instead of one tag some folks have received 3 or more tags for the same hunt!!
 
True story! They're duplicate tags with exactly the same numbers on them yet I'm sure there will be a fool or two thinkin they can shoot multiple animals with them. It's a genuine chitshow currently!

I received two deer tags one day and a third the following day. Just found out the other night that my dad received three as well. Not a big deal for us as we're going to be returning our tags but I'm sure there's people that will use multiple tags and play dumb if they get caught. I think Colorado Parks and Wildlife should void all tags and resend them on a different colored paper.
 
Just got off the phone with CPW. My tag was mailed on June 27th! The only way to get a new one issued is to call back on Aug 6th and have a new one mailed (I leave on Aug 10th for another hunt and then go straight to CO). Or I have to stop by a CPW office on my way to my unit and pick up a new tag. My current trip itinerary does not take me near any CPW office and in fact if I am forced to go to one for my tag it'll add 5.5 hours to my drive and wasted fuel. What a joke!!
 
Sorry Bw. I suspect they're gettin an earful on the regular, and deservedly so! They've taken several dumps on us residents this year as well. They're not make in friends. Where are you coming from and going to in Colorado?

It took five phone calls over a few weeks to get it...but I finally got my tag. I must of spoke to the right person at the GJ office on my fifth try. She did some research, called me back the next day and 3 days later I had it in the mail. To Kaselyn at the GJ office...thanks!!
