trespass fees unit 41, 42, 421

I plan on being in the units later this summer and knocking on some doors for a third season deer hunt. Does anyone know if the landowners in this area are open to allowing access to or across their land, or do they typically want a trespass fee? Or is it a he!! no get off my driveway?

Have hunted unit 30 a couple times but never bothered with the private. These units look a little more tricky with access.

Of course, if anyone has any advice for this hunt, it would be greatly appreciated. I am happy to trade information for deer, elk, waterfowl or pheasant in SE Idaho.

I would think it would be tough, but it doesn't cost anything to ask good luck!

Hunted around Collbran a couple years ago and it was tough. There was BLM/forest service land that was literally only a few hundred feet off the main road but it was land locked by private nonetheless.

We asked for permission to cross the private and we were told sure for $$$. We were hoping for a different outcome to say the least.

Unfortunate that it is becoming a rich man's game.

Thanks for the replies. It is very frustrating that the BLM/USFS and even the counties have done such a poor job obtaining public access. We'll see what this fall brings.
