Wife is thinking of making the trip out to CO with me this fall. Is there and nice hotels or resort hotels in the area.

She is going to be disappointed. A lot of Crested Butte establishment's are closed during October and the first 3/4 of November. "Off season" in a ski town is not real exciting...even the pot despensorys cut back their hours. Unless she is going to hunt with you..your about to really screw up your tag...Get her on Gunnison and CB web sites and look at events for the days your here..If it's a September tag bring her she will love it. Rifle season..better spend some $$$ on a girls trip some where else..

Three rivers resort in Almont, just north of Gunnison. All sizes of cabins for rent, some houses are rentable too. Sits right on the river. Usually pretty booked up that time of year.
