2 A list elk tags?

I just sent this to CPW:

Want to sell more leftover licenses? Allow us to purchase 2 from A list, if one is from the leftover list.

Would you suggest the same thing?

Hmmm. I'd say if it sits for more than a week on the list that is a good idea!

Maybe get rid of the stupid Type A Cow tags and make them a B tag.

Bwaaahaahaaa. I was hoping to generate some genuine discussion on whether this is a viable idea, and spark some interest in suggesting it to CPW (I already did, no reply so far).

What do you see as pros/cons of allowing purchase of 2 A list tags, provided one is from the leftover/reissue list AFTER the leftover draw? Currently you can have 2 B tags, or one A and one B, but never 2 A tags. Most cow tags from limited units are A tags, so you can't have a bull and a cow tag in limited units, regardless of season.

Turn loose of em a few days before the season starts. Least they'll make some revenue off of em instead of letting them go unsold.

I'm sure the state would think along these lines:
What generates more money for the state's econcomy?
Two hunters with 1 tag each or one hunter with two tags?

CPAW would probably like to sell as many tags as possible regardless of how many tags a hunter has in his pocket as they are a self funded enterprise.
