2018 speed goat

After spending 2 full days scouting and looking over tons of bucks. Dad and I we able to locate an upper end buck in a heavily pressured, yet hard to draw unit on Friday afternoon. After playing cat and mouse with him all morning and having him leave his does amongst a civil war of antelope slaughter around us we were able to turn him back up in the late morning and I was able to make a long shot to harvest him.

I try to make antelope hunting as difficult as possible haha primarily because the ol man bet me lunch I couldn't carry him whole body back the 3/4 mile to the truck.

Yes I did, probably going to run it the rest of the year. I was debating using the 6xc or 6.5x47 Lapua but it's hard not to shoot a gun you have a ton of confidence in.

I think you're probably right on that one haha if only I could of bet him my running taxi bill for this fall!
