When the time comes, I will have one chance to hunt 12AW Early Rifle or 13A Archery. I won't be hunting long enough for a second chance at either.

Which would you pick?

13a archery. After you kill a big'n then start applying for the 12a archery hunt. Fun hunt, lots of deer and you will almost always see at least one "booner". You would probably draw every 2-3 years.

Good Luck

I guess I'll have to wait on a NV tag to use the rifle again. Even though 13A is a tough hunt for a DIY hunter, I agree I shouldn't pass up the chance at putting my boots in that country with a tag in my pocket.
