LAST EDITED ON Apr-05-15 AT 01:45PM (MST)[p]I created my account today and goofed up and didn't get my dept id in my profile. It shows it without that so I have no license, points, etc in my profile. On the screen it shows you can edit it, but when you click on that it doesn't allow you to add the dept id. Any thoughts?
 
I did the same thing. lol

I just created a new account with a different email. When it asks you to merge account info, select yes. This will transfer all your info over into the new portal.

Or you might try to call them and see if they can add your deptarment ID to the account you already created.
 
Thanks. I'd like to keep the same email. I'll call them and see what they can do. I don't know why they don't force that information to be entered.
 
They just created it, and I think they are having issues with it. Mine shows my points, but no license.... and I have a Lifetime License. I would give it a week or so, my guess is the kinks will get straightened out.
 
It seems like they should have waited until after the mad house of results to launch their new website...but that may make sense and it is the govt we r talking about...lol
 
Yeah I agree.

If game and fish is reading this, if I could make one suggestion, is that the Sportsmans ID number should be a required field that has to be filled in BEFORE you can continue. Would have saved a lot of headaches! :)
 
I can't remember exactly how but I didn't do the customer id also and I did get back in and edit it with just a little playing. Kind of just go back through the steps and play a little and you can fix it with no problem
 
Called the dept. they added my number with no problems. I tried to edit it but the field for my dept Id didn't come up. The lady mentioned that is a required field and the system should not allow you to proceed without it. But it does. I like the new system.
 
When I edited mine it didn't come up either, but some how going back I was able to find a screen that let me do it. Didn't take long to find it, but I just don't remember how I did it
 
So yesterday I added another account using a different email address. Everything looks good there. Today after I called Fish & Game and the fixed my original account everything looked good in there also. She mentioned they are not allowed to delete accounts so I have 2 in there. The second one showed license information this morning but does not this afternoon??
