Loyalty Point

I am accruing my loyalty point this year and was wondering when I draw if I lose that point or if I get to keep it by applying each year. Looked at the regulations "An applicant retains a loyalty bonus point once accrued as long as the applicant submits a valid application annually for a hunt permit-tag or a bonus point for the genus for which the loyalty bonus point was accrued."

Just curious?

Unless!!!!! you mess up an application and are rejected, then you lose your point for 5 years. Very stupid rule, even though you are loyal and apply and pay your fee, if rejected you lose the point for five years. Not a fair rule.

Just make sure you don't get rejected!

The loyalty point was a knee jerk reaction to the 2004 USO lawsuit. Im practice, it really doesn't help with the tough draws as everyone has one. It more acts like a penalty if you mess up.

Boys it is what it is! None of us made the rule, but we all got to live by it!

Simple answer, DON'T MAKE A MISTAKE!
