Do you remember a unit 10 early elk hunt in 2008 when early in the morning you came up behind our truck and were basically trying to force us to drive faster or pull over and let you pass? Do you remember later in the day seeing myself and my brother cow calling along a tree line? Do you remember chastising my brother later because we were do it yourself hunters and apparently we weren't hunting to your standards or doing it your way? Do you remember later pulling into our camp with your client to take a look at the bull I killed? Do you remember me running you out of our camp? You can train a monkey to set trail cameras and drive rich folks around but training a monkey hunting ethics is a little harder. You would be the last guide I would recommend to someone. If you or anyone wants to call me out on what I've said here feel free to call me.

So the dude wanted to go around you in the morning, get a life. That's everyones pet peeve. Slow hunter going down the road making everyone late.

What a stupid post. The guy chastizes you because you weren't being ethical. He comes to congratulate you on your bull and you run him out of camp. You go slow on the road so they can't get to there hunting spot in a timely manner. Pull over next time. Just cause some guys go guided doesn't make them any less of a man. Sounds like you might be the problem Unethical, jealous of guides, ornery old dude. They are trying to run a business. Be glad you got a bull. Did they steal from you, were they some how unethical, did they shoot after hours, were they herding the animals. Did they scare your elk away? Get a life. Ive never even been with this outfitter and I think outfitters are overpaid, but you sound like the guy in the wrong on this one.

OP:

Are you sure this was the outfitter. I have hunted a couple times with these guys and they are good guys. If anything they would be willing to help other hunters out, I can't see them doing things like that.

Model700... I just got back from the field and saw your post. No I don't remember any of this sorry to say. You say this happened in 2008, that was 7 years ago. I don't ever remember getting run out of camp for congratulating anyone on killing a great bull, I would probably remember that. Anyway, hey get out and hunt and just enjoy the great outdoors not what you think happened on a hunt 7 years ago. Life is too short! If we did something that offended you, sorry for the mistake it certainly wasn't intended. Come hunt with us some time and you will see what we are all about. Life is good in Arizona this year
