Unit 23 late archery

Best I got is "Tough". Biggest bulls in there are 350 as per other posts on the unit by real good sources. But a bow and arrow post rut. I'll tell you this much. Its a thick jungle and I think there is more water this year than ever, so water holes may not be much use. Try the hells gate wilderness at least then you'll see beautiful country even if you don't get any opportunities at elk. just saying.

Not gonna lie those late archery hunts are one of the toughest hunts you'll do. Basically find the biggest nastiest darkest canyon there and the bulls will be there. 23 has some huge bulls but chasing them in November is tough. My dad has the 23n early archery tag so if I find out any info to help you I'll post it.
