Arizona cow elk

Hey everyone. I am new to Arizona, going to school in flagstaff. I was planning to apply for cow elk this coming up year. I am pretty unfamiliar with the units around here and was wondering what everyones opinion is on which would be the best unit to apply for around Flag for cow elk. Also I can only apply for the October hunt dates due to the fact that the December ones would conflict with finals for my classes. Thanks.

Seems like most of the AZ hunts start on Friday and end the following Thursday, only one weekend, not ideal for a college student. I'd just go to the local AZGD office and talk to them with what you are looking for. They are pretty helpful if you ask for help.
