Any Advice for 15A/B Muzzy Antelope

So here is the scoop. I'm the jerk that drew a tag with 0 points!

I have been applying for deer and elk in Arizona for a couple years. My brother says throw your name in the pot for Antelope you will never draw. Not knowing anything I picked the what looked like the most difficult unit to draw for a non-resident since I had done no research for antelope.

Well I drew, I have done some actual research now and found out that 15A/B is not really the best unit in the state. And there is very little info about this hunt. Any advice on what size of goat I should be looking for?

Either way I'm super excited and should be able to come scout it some this summer.

Any info would be great!

There are some good bucks that come out of this unit. Any good advice would be to get in there and learn the unit. There are small bunches of antelope in areas you wouldn't expect, so lots of pre season scouting.

Congrats on your tag. The game and fish website says that there are 4 areas: Truxton Flat, Badger Flat, Airport Flat, and The Hualapai Valley.

Be advised that the area commonly known and referred to as TRUXTON FLAT is in Unit 18A!

The area across Highway 66 to the east of Truxton Flat is in his unit...And odds are he would find few if any antelope in that area.

That's just one reason why he needs to call me...lol
Can't beat info from someone who has been in and hunted in these units since the 70's.
