Dan Driggs from St. George Utah is the current leader in the 2017 AWO BIG PIG contest.
Dan took this boar at 125 yards with his muzzleloader on Day 2 of the hunt, while hunting with me.
The pig weighed 39 lbs. 6 oz. (field dressed).
In second place is Cory Erpelding from Surprise, AZ who checked in a 39 lb. 1 oz boar on opening day of the HAM hunt in Unit 18B.
Tied for third are two pigs that weighed 37 lbs. 7 oz.
The rifle hunt starts on Friday and anyone who wants in the contest and has an 18B tag can sign up on Thursday at my camp on Sycamore Camp Road.
Bryan Bell from California took this boar during the archery hunt in Unit 18B. It weighs 37 lbs. 7 oz and is currently tied for third place in our contest.
