New to hunting in AZ

Hey everyone,

This will be the first year I'll be hunting in Arizona if I'm lucky enough to get drawn a deer tag in unit 7. I've looked all over the DNR website but haven't been able to find an answer.

Are you allowed to bring out 2 LEGAL hunting guns to your stand with you? I know in Illinois you could bring out a shotgun and legal handgun if you wanted. Anyone know the answer to this as the website only states if you bring out an NON-LEGAL gun you can't hunt with it.

As long as all weapons are legal for the hunt I think you can bring the whole gun safe if you want. And when it comes down to it at nearly all times of year there's a season for something with all different weapons so you can technically take whatever you'd like they would just have to catch or prove that you were trying to use one of the weapons illegally.

Thanks. I like to keep it legal. I come from Illinois, not much we could own back there.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question but I do know you can walk into Walmart with a hog leg strapped to your waist so I'm thinking you can take a pistol hunting with you.
