Cards getting hit

Deer tag for me as well.

Edit - I should be more careful when applying. Strip rifle first choice. Was supposed to be Unit 23 as my second choice. Just looked at my portal and realized that I fat fingered it and applied for Unit 28 as my second choice.

Unless I am really, really, REALLY lucky and drew a rifle strip tag then I'm very glad that I spent the money on Point Guard.

I feel like an idiot. Out of the years of putting in for a ton of draws in many different states, this is the first time I've done that. I'm usually very meticulous and double check everything. Not this time I guess.

>Are you all residents of AZ?
>

Non-Resident here but my second choice was pretty much a guaranteed draw so don't go by my results.

$300 hit. Sheep tag! Now the long wait for results to see who's tag and what unit. My wife or daughter for desert or myself for rocky. Unlikely it's my rocky since I drew desert 2 years ago.

Sheep tag for my brother and a deer tag for my brother so far. Another possible deer tag for my other brother as well. All pretty tough to draw tags.

Robb, Ya you are right. My scouting time has been reduced. I found a few spots by the burn where I know I can be in bucks immediately. It was a fun hunt. But this year I got a step daughter coming from China to start college in Michigan. So my trip will be postponed until I can get her settled in. Two August hunts at same time yikes. I'm afraid I'll end up being forced to skip the WY pronghorn bow hunt. Just do that after my elk hunt concludes.

I have a $300 hit on my cc. I am a NR put in for 13b rifle and archery. I am soooo damn nervous right now. LOL.

Definitely not. My sheep tag hit has not shown up yet.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-09-17 AT 02:17AM (MST)[p]So I was on my bank account website today and the AZ $300 pending charge disappeared, then reappeared two hours later. Weird. Wonder what's up with that.

No hits for me. But I don't have the required points for the hunt I'm after. And don't have the luck to draw anything in the random ever. Try again next year.

Archery Kaibab.....it's been a while since I've bowhunted it.......can't wait to get back up there.

BOHNTR how many points did it take to get your nr Kiabab archery. Man I miss that hunt. We use to hunt it alot before it went to a draw. Good Luck.

Not completely sure.......I had 10 and let a buddy put in with me that had 3.....so average of 7? I believe 4 was guaranteed?

LAST EDITED ON Jul-12-17 AT 07:30PM (MST)[p]I think the percent progress bar on AZGF website refers to the complete draw progress. There are 5 steps, so 20% each. Payment processing is third step, 60%. I could be wrong but that's how I read it. It's confusing because if payment processing is finished draw would be the 60% that is shown but it seems like the words above the 60% bar would be the next step, Results Processing.

Not that I'm checking it about every hour since one of my 3 sons or me apparantly drew a desert sheep permit based on the charge on my credit card.

Word is that they dump all the charges at the same time. If any are refused, they need to resort those filling in and the that impacts others on their choices and charge the fill in applications. It is possible a few more charges will hit that way still. The portal should update around Tuesday 7/18 if the previous few draws delay of 11 days from charging holds.

Our group of four with 4 points..no luck. 3 friends both put in with one other person, and all had 4 points...no luck. 3 other friends (all AZ residents) went solo with 4 points...no luck. Going to take at least 5 points to be guaranteed.

They moved the bar on the website in the Draw Process section to 80%. That's results preparation. They are driving me crazy, it's worse than waiting for X-Mas!!!
